The Clazh – Technology and Design is run by Arpit Jacob. It was launched on the 1^st of April 2007, with a focus on Technology, Web Development Usability and Design. The site provides high quality content and articles and tutorials. The site has been growing at an exponential rate and has been featured a number of times on some of the top Social networking sites like, Digg, Delicious etc. The site design has also been featured in a large number of the top CSS Galleries.

Professionally Speaking

I am live and work in Chennai, India. I am a self taught Web developer and Designer and have been developing websites since the age of 16. My key interests are in the area of web design, usability and development with a focus on the use of Web Standards. I have a bachelors degree in Information Technology and I worked for two years as a software developer before deciding to become a freelance Web designer and Developer. I love love meeting and interacting with people of similar interests. I am constantly looking to improve my skills and network.

Who I Am

A follower of Jesus Christ and his ways, I like to hanging out with my friends in church. An avid Mac Geek I love everything Apple I am an iPhone and Mac Book Pro owner. A wander-lusting traveler, I love traveling, meeting new people, exploring different cultures, biking, hiking and exploring nature, I been almost all over India, Bhutan, Dubai and the USA. Hopefully I will get to add a couple of more places in the coming years. I am also an amateur photographer do check out my photos on flickr.

About The Site and Design

The Site is running on the Wordpress blogging platform. My Blog theme and Design has been featured on a large number of CSS Galleries around the web. I like creating clean XHTML/CSS Web Standards based designs. Great care has been taken to maintain the usability of the site. The Theme is very minimalistic and light weight and uses pure CSS except for a few fixes for IE. When It comes to design I am a bit obsessed with the colour blue, most of my designs are combinations or different shades of blue.
